Most failed study journeys we see did not fail at the visa — they failed months earlier, at program choice: wrong subject, wrong language level, wrong city budget, unrecognised provider.
The five checks
- Recognition: is the university state-recognised and the program accredited? (We verify — never trust a brochure.)
- Entry reality: do your certificates actually qualify — directly, or via Studienkolleg/VPD? An honest answer here saves a wasted year.
- Language: B2/C1 German or IELTS-proven English — programs that demand less than that of you deserve suspicion.
- Employability: does the degree lead to jobs in Germany's demand sectors (IT, engineering, health, business)? Your 18-month post-study job-search visa is worth the most with the right subject.
- Total cost of city + program: Munich rent vs a smaller city can matter more than tuition differences.
In the free assessment we map your certificates, budget and goal to 2–3 realistic programs — including honest 'no's where a route would waste your money.
